  18. Yes, to the extent that I can compile a significant fraction of all
  19. the FORTRAN code I can lay my hands on.  I've integrated the eispack
  20. library into my GNU tree, as an example, since the entire library
  21. compiles and the selftests run.  It also compiles and runs the FORTRAN
  22. version of paranoia, with only one test failure.  It is impressively
  23. stable for the first release of a major compiler, in that it has never
  24. crashed on me, or crashed the system either.  When it does choke on
  25. code, it seems to do it gracefully.
